A Message from the Directors, July 2026

Registration is Now Open for the G-CAN 2026 12TH Annual Research Symposium and Workshops; November 4-5, 2026, Caribe Royale Orlando.

This eagerly anticipated event will showcase the latest advancements and

breakthroughs in the field, while providing exceptional opportunities for

networking and mentorship among experts, seasoned professionals, and

emerging investigators. By registering, you’ll join a vibrant community

driving innovation in the study and care of gout and related diseases,

while gaining fresh insights and practical strategies to enhance patient

outcomes.  Whether you will be traveling to Orlando or joining us virtually, our

hybrid platform provides opportunities to connect with experts, colleagues,

and emerging voices from around the world.

In-person sessions will be held at the Caribe Royale Orlando, located

near the area’s numerous attractions. However, those who are unable to

travel have the option of attending virtually as in the past five years;

presentations will be live-streamed and speakers will be able to answer

questions and participate in breakout sessions either in person or via the

internet.

General Sessions will take place on Wednesday, November 4, and Thursday,

November 5. These sessions will include Year in Review presentations,

lightning talks, special lectures, and award presentations, as well as a

combined Plenary Gout and CPPD Workshop/Networking session on November 4.

An evening reception is scheduled for November 4 following the day’s

meetings. A draft agenda outlining the symposium topics and speakers is available

here. This year, to defray the rising costs of the meeting, we will be

asking for a modest registration fee to attend. Simply click the link below

to register, and receive session log-in information and access to the

symposium website, streamed presentations and information for in-person

attendees.

A block of rooms for in-person attendees is available at a reduced rate at

the Caribe Royale Orlando. You will be directed to reserve your hotel

room when you register for the symposium on the G-CAN meeting website.

Please share this registration link with your colleagues. For more

information on the symposium or the meeting venue, contact Rebecca Hill,

Executive Director, at RebeccaH@g-can.org.
