Gout, Urate and Crystal Deposition Disease is the first journal focused exclusively on the broad field of gout, urate and hyperuricemia biology and genomics, and crystal deposition disease. This is an online-only, entirely open access journal of G-CAN as a society. All 4 issues for 2023 are available online.

Congratulations to Riku Takei!

Congratulations to this year's winner of the H. Ralph Schumacher Memorial Early Career Investigator Award, Riku Takei. Mr. Takei's abstract, Genetic colocalization of gout with plasma and urine metabolites, received the highest score of the 23 abstract submissions. He will present his findings in a lecture at the 9th Annual G-CAN Research Symposium November 7, 2023. For a fill list of 2023 Awards click here.
